Central Coast Gang Show!

  The inspiration for Gang Shows comes from Ralph Reader, who started Gang Show in London in 1932. Central Coast Gang Show is proud to be a successful part of this worldwide phenomenon and also provide Scouts and Guides with the opportunity to take part in the performing arts. Gang Show is only part of a wide range of training activities available to members of the Scout and Guide movements, but it is perhaps the one single activity that brings together� together so many friends and supporters. Each year, a cast of members rehearse every week for 4-5 months to bring you an action packed show, and this year is no different. For those of you who haven't been to see many theatre shows, Gang Show cast members have to learn and remember many more songs, movements and wear more costumes, than in other types of shows. So not only does that make their job fractionally more difficult, but makes being a cast memeber a huge undertaking. They are well deserved of the applause you will share with them during the show. This year the Gang Show is being held at Laycock Street Theatre on Wednesday 9th, Thursday 10th, Friday 11th of July at 7:30PM each night and Saturday 12th July at 1:00PM and 7:00PM.
