Published: Tuesday 12 August 2014

Hello Flower Doctor here, Eriostemon is a native shrub has small greyish-green leaves that sparsely cover the branches. Pink, star-shaped flowers that open from pinkish buds are borne in abundance in spring, making this a gorgeous flowering native. The Eriostemon is only available around this time of the year. The Eriostemon has a gorgeous fragrance and looks absolutely stunning in a bouquet or even by itself in a vase. What to look for when buying: -Some star shaped flowers open with others not open -Healthy and full looking green foliage How to care: -Re-cut the stems about 1cm up on an angle -Place a cut flower preservative in the water -Keep in a cool place away from direct sunlight Click Here to read more from the Flower Doctor.
