TEAM LEE.

Lee is a thirty nine year old single mum to three young boys, who has recently been diagnosed with malignant melanoma. Lee is the breadwinner of the family and works full time �to support her three boys. This is very challenging both physically and mentally. Lee must endure the various side effects of her treatments whilst trying to juggle specialist visits, treatments, work and being a mum to her beautiful boys. New treatment options are costly and without the fundraising efforts Lee would not have access to such treatments. Lee is also taking the opportunity, in conjunction with the Team Lee fundraising team, to promote check your skin melanoma awareness day. Lee is dedicated to educate and raise awareness of the cause to help prevent �others suffering from such a insidious disease. Melanoma is the fourth most common cancer diagnosed in Australia and Lee has urged prevention through sun protection and also regular skin checks for early detection. A few local mums have banded together, along with the Kariong community to create Team Lee. Team Lee is a fundraising effort to support the local family in need. They have organised a series of events �to raise funds to support this family financially so that Lee may get the treatment that she needs and help with costly medical expenses. Team Lee has organised a Monster Car Boot Sale on the 28th July at Mitchell Drive Kariong and a benefit night on September 7th. We have helped Team Lee by donating some gift vouchers to help raise some money for this deserving cause.
