Has anyone been the subject to any April Fool’s Day pranks yet?
The actual origin of April Fool’s Day is unclear. One theory is during the 16th century, the Christian world switched from the Julian calendar, which was introduced by Julius Caesar, to the Gregorian calendar named for Pope Gregory XIII, which changed the date of New Year to January 1. Some writers suggest that April Fools' originated because those who celebrated on January 1 made fun of those who celebrated on other dates.
